on deadly ground

my 98 was hit litely on drivers side by and older lady and had it fixed..the shop said the door and finder and qt was all put in new it all had lite cracks in them ....but now my drivers side head light is much demer than the passger side..i ran a ground wire about 3" long from rail to head light wires and it now is ok...but what do you think they did wrong?????????????????

Actually, it sounds like the shop didn't attach the ground wire well enough, if you can find out where the wire terminates you may also find that there is paint between the terminal and the lug.

Anybody figure out why this thread is titled "On Deadly Ground"?
