After trying several times to get my front lowered and not having much luck on the control arm I tried a site that pewter99 gave me. I put that jack all over the control arm and couldn't get the bolt to turn. After I went to the site I saw a picture with the jack and a block of wood on the leaf spring. I applied very little pressure to the jack there and the bolt turned so easy it was funny. The back was a snap and now I'm getting ready to take her for a ride.
I went out for about a 40 mile ride this afternoon with about 20 miles of it thru some good twisties trying to get it to settle a little bit. I measured when I got back and it has dropped about a 1/2 inch all the way around give or take a 1/16. Hope it drops at least a 1/4 inch more as it driven some more. I didn't know a 1/2 inch would make it look that much different, but it already looks better. I'm not sure if that's just all in my head, ( guess that's all that really counts though). I could not really tell that much difference in the ride quality. Not bad at all considering it has GY runflats. Can't wait till they wear out.
Look at my post yesterday, HELP-Trying to lower at this time. You can click on the link there. As they say, sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
