You can loosen the torx screws that hold the cover on and possibly make up the difference that way

There are adjustment slots on the hood but I would agree with the previous post that you try and align it using the headlight cover play rather than the hood which is a pain to adjust on the hinges, especially by yourself.

The headlight brackets bolt to the outside of the framerails. Try to adjust the covers as suggested, but first I think you have to remove the black plastic surround to get to all the adjustment screws. Perfectly aligned panels on a C5 is near impossible so don't beat yourself up over it too much.
