It is time to replace my rear tires and I currently have PilotSports 295/35/18. I enjoyed them and the front PilotSports are still good. I am trying to decide if I should go with another set of PilotSports in the rear or get one of the other cheaper tires in the same size. The Toyo's look good.
Any thoughts? Will I have problems if I mismatch? Any new tire sizes out there for a 10 1/2 inch rim? Any 300+/30s? Any feedback on the new PilotSports 2?
Cecil is getting ready to do the same thing...I can tell you I had MPS on the rear of mine with the Firestones upfront and no issues although when I sold them to Cecil he put them on his car he said it didn't feel right....looks like he is gonna go with Michelins again on the back until the fronts are gone. I will most likely do the same. Might look at the Kuhmos when the Michelins are gone completly.
I am going to call around and get some prices. I am just excited that you have more options now. I may stay with the PS on the rear until the fronts are gone and then which to the Kumho or Toyo. Heck maybe by then I will be in a C6 Z06.
