I'd definitely be interested. It would be a lot closer than driving to Goliad. Just don't schedule it the same weekend as the Big Bend Open Road Race (April 20-23).

Details please...fee, # of runs, are there classes, which direction from Dallas? 100 miles south adds 100 miles to a 600 mile tow, what's there to do while your waiting to run. don't care much about the "national media" coverage, just a lot of quality time with my redline.

Sounds very interesting. How many miles is it from LA CA. Will it be on a weekend?

We have a rolling mile event down here every weekend at an "undisclosed" location. The current top dog is a turbo Hyabusa that GPS'd @ 237mph.

They have been doing this as a preliminary event at the Sand Hills Open Road Race for the past three years. It's a blast! Just to let you know the benchmark; two years ago, a guy from Chicago with a twin turbo Viper did 200.4 from a standing start in a measured mile. That's moving. - C.
