Tell us exactly what it is you've done, and what does or doesn't show up in your menus.
Have you gone into the DIC fob training menu, and if not, why not?
Are you actually trying to train a FOB or two, or just a bit curious?
We're here to help.

You say the training step is not there...There are two seperate "MODES" that you can put the DIC into...one is a diagnostic mode and it reads from the seperate Modules that are reporting faults.
The "diagnostic display" MODE is entered with the following Procedure:
Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine.
Press the "reset" button to turn off any warning messages
Press and hold "options" and
While holding "options", press "fuel" four times within a 10-Second period.
The Secound "MODE", is a "Training" MODE. Here you can program either your Key FOBs or your Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors.
To match the transmitter to your vehicle:
1. Turn the ingnition key to the ON position
2. Clear any warning messages on the Driver Information Center (DIC) by pressing the RESET button.
3. Press the OPTIONS button on the DIC several times until the blank page is displayed, then press and hold the RESET button for two seconds.
4. When the message FOB TRAINING is displayed, push the RESET button once. The message HOLD LK+UNLK 1ST FOB will be displayed.
5. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 15 seconds.
6. When a transmitter is learned, the DIC will display FOB LEARNED and then prompt you to learn the next transmitter.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each additional transmitter.
8. Remove the key from the ignition.
The programmer mode will shut off if:
You don't program any transmitters for two minutes.
You take the key out of the ignition.
You have programmed three transmitters.
Notice.....
You Press the FUEL button when entering the Diagnostic mode......
You press the RESET button to enter the DIC training Mode.....
Good Luck

Interesting.....Once you have cleared the screen using the Options button...
then held the Reset button, you should see FOB Training as the first selection.
Pressing the Options button at this point should toggle you between, Fob or Tire training.
When in diagnostic mode, is the car showing any RFA faults??
