It depends if the overall tire height is more , less or the same.If the height is the same or very very close your fine.Otherwise youll need some reprogramming.
Wheel diameter is irrelavant. It's the rear tire diameter (height) that affects the speedometer.
The common 20" tires most people use on these cars are very close in overall height as the stock 18" tires, so no changes are needed.
If you were to change the tire height drastically, say 1" or more..then you'd probably want to program in the new tire height to calibrate the speedometer. LS1-Edit and I think some of the handheld programmers can adjust for this....but again, if you use the right size tires, this is unnecessary.
