Difference in Wheel Offset w/identical wheels?
Front: 9.5" x 17" 54mm offset
Rear: 10.5" x 18" 58mm offset
The wheels measure perfectly and I love the OEM 5 spoke look in Z06 sizing. They are perfect for the Nitto R2 305 rears and 275 fronts and they mounted and balanced beautifully. Here is the really weird thing, when I take a strait edge and hold it up against the tire vertically right over the center of the wheel on the rears, the offsets measure perfectly from the hub. But when I measure the distance from the strait edge to the fender, it is about 5mm out on the driver side, but only 1-2mm out on the passenger side. The passenger side looks flush, the dirver side looks just a little further out, if you look really close. You don't notice it on the walk around, just under close scrutiny.
Any one have this happen? I just cannot figure out why they are not the same. The car has never been damaged. Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.

Also, have you driven the car at all? If it just came off the jack, you need to drive it a bit to get things settled back into place.
If you have driven it, having your alignment checked would be the next step. A slight difference in camber degree adjustment can easily make that 2-3mm difference you are seeing at the top of the tire.
