Do not reuse your crank bolt. I would suggest using a longer version of the crank bolt to get the pulley back on. I didn't and I messed up the first few threads in the crank. If I ever do a cam swap again, I plan on using the GM tool to seat the pulley and pinning the crank so it won't come off. Using a bolt to seat the pulley is not the best method as is puts a lot of stress on the threads.

I went to NAPA and got their spring comp. It's a little hand held screw type. I have done 3 springs swaps with it, it works great and it's only $30. Do you have the air hose and compr. to hold the valves up while changing springs?

aqnyone tried heating the hub of the dampner right before install to give extra clearance and tap on maybe 1/2 inch then using bolt to pull on.kevin

Plenty of room. I would use the comp. air to hold the valves up. It can be PITA trying keep the valve up, compress the springs and put the locks on. JMO

Use the stock bolt to pull the crank pulley back on. Get a ARP crank bolt and use some locktite on it. You should be alright.

I think I got my ARP bolt from Texas Speed.
