For the non-ZO6 C5s I believe the answer is "yes". The ZO6 has different specs because it doesn't use the run flats, hence the sidwalls are softer and a more agressive camber setting can be run.
I dont got no stinkin runflats.....On my 98 Coupe, I still have stock wagon wheels with BFG G-force KDW tires. Suspension is base springs and sway bars but with Bilstein Sports. I DO plan on either Zo6 or Hotchkiss sway bars. Will only stiffen rear spring to Z06 spec if it still feels mushy after swaybar install. Given the slightly softer setup than the Z06, do you guys think I would benefit from slightly increased camber? A slightly quicker 'turn in' would be nice on the front end. I have played around with tire pressure a bit to balance cornering forces.
John, ...Is this the data you refered to???? Found it on roadrace section. Is front toe-out a normal setting too or just for autoX setup....
For Zo6 autocross....
Lower the fronts all the way and the backs to within 2 threads showing. Drive it for a couple weeks to allow the suspension to settle, and check your ride height at the jacking points on a level surface. Equalize the front height if required and adjust to a rake of 0 to 1/8th inch.
Rake ... 0 to 1/8 inch, as measured at the jacking pints, for autox should be OK.
Camber Front: At least -1.75 Rear: Maximum but equal, about-1.2 to -1.5.
Caster Greater than 6.0
toe? Front: 1/8th inch total toe out, Rear: Total 1/4 inch toe-in
Cornerweight after you have allowed the suspension to settle with the ride height you like, and before you allign it.
