Default Headlight Adjustment Question

Has anybody out there managed to raise the aim on their headlights? I tried to do it on mine but I just cannot get them to aim high enough. High beams are great, low beams are way too low. They hit the ground about 20 feet in fron t of the car. I searched this topic with the search function and didn't find anything.

Also, the passenger side light raises higher than the driver side by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I couldn't find anything in the maintenance manual on how to get the headlight to pop up more (I tried the **** on the headlamp to no avail).

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had intermittent luck trying to aim the headlights using the adjusters -- so I leave well enough alone.

You're case sounds a bit exteme, so I would try the Armstrong method on the adjusters.

If the entire assembly is off -- check the stops and make sure both sides are at the same spot.

Yes -- be sure when you look at the stop to make sure the little plastic thing is still on the tab.

I know, it was probably clear enough from your first post. Just trying to get the count up a bit today.
