Default Patriot Performance heads Win 2004 TCC !

Press Release: March 11, 2005
For Immediate Publication

The D. J. Race Enterprise team of Jeff Cauley of West Bloomfield, MI, Robert Pfeffer of Indianapolis, IN and Danny Kellermeyer of Ortonville, MI has been working overtime over the winter months. The team is coming off a winning 2004 season with a first and third podium finish in the Touring Challenge for Corvette series, which is the teams seventeenth championship. This is Danny’s fourth TCC Championship and Robert is a three-time TCC winner.

The D. J. Race team is not relying on its laurels however. Getting ready for the 2005 season requires the best of everything and their engine program is looking forward to their new powerplants. For improved levels, Patriot Performance was contacted for their cylinder head experience. “We have had decent power levels in the past but are looking to increase for the 2005 season”, say Danny Kellermeyer, President of D. J. Race Ent. “We are excited to be working with one of the nations leaders in LS1 - CNC cylinder head porting. My winning engine last year ran Patriot heads on it and I know they have made improvements in the last two years".

Patriot Performance Racing Heads realize that porting of performance heads has always been part of attaining maximum horsepower and that slight alterations can affect that flow tremendously. “Patriot’s CNC programming looks good and boasts some impressive flow results. I’m really impressed with the attention they pay to valve seats and guides. After all this is where the flow starts and stops” says Danny. Their design has been derived from working with the best designers of racing heads. Their product line of valves, springs, and retainers are leading edge as are their new products of camshafts and rocker arms.

The D. J. Racing team is excited about joining their Championship winning team with one of the leading teams in the Cylinder head industry. Be watching for more to come from D. J. Racing and Patriot Performance.

I had to check....D.J. Race does road racing, not drag racing. I know I haven't heard about reliability problems in a while, so this helps confirm that these heads are right where they should be. They still aren't the most powerful heads, but for the price, they're hard to beat.

I would ask him what he changed to use them. There is no way he bolted them straight on to his race car.

Sprinter, how 'bout a quick summary? I can't get to Ls1tech.com at work. If you're posting about Patriot head problems, post the date the thread was started as well.
