HUD Switch or Entire Instrument Cluster?
I've purchased a HUD unit, bezel, and instrument dash cluster from Gene's Kar Shop
But now I'm wondering, do I just remove the HUD switch from the dash cluster and install it in my 2000 unit, or do I replace the entire cluster. It looks as though it may be easiest to replace the entire cluster. However, I've heard that if you do this, you need to have some onboard computer (perhaps the cluster) reprogrammed. What does this do? What if you don't get it done? Will the car run without the reprogramming? Will the dash gauges work without the reprogramming?

The Odometer Mileage is stored in the Cluster...The Hud Control and 11 pin wire harness is easy to change over to your Cluster to prevent having to reprogram the new cluster.
Yes....the car will run fine and all gauges will work..Its all Plug and Play!!
