main mods are 3.42 gears, PT2900 T/C, C2 camshaft, vortex ram air cold induction, TPIS LT, no cats, magnaflow xpipe, corsa touring cat back on drag radials.
I'm looking to get in the 11's.
I think it may be possible by porting my TB and getting an LS6 intake.

Is this possible or i'm stretching it..
With your mods you should already be in the 11s. Did you have your car dyno tuned, how much RWHP are you putting down? At what RPM is your car shifting at WOT? An LS6 intake and a ported TB should help but you might have small tuning issues that are slowing your car down. Your trap speed should be higher than 112 MPH and you should be able to hit very low 1.7s to high 1.6 60 ft times if the track you go to is preped properly. Your PT2900 might also be part of the problem. I have seen another member who was cam only like you with 3.42 gears run low 12s with a PT2900. He swapped the PT2900 for a Yank ST3500 and his car ran high to mid 11s with no other changes.
Change that PT2900 to a PT4000 and i guarantee you will get in the 11's as long as you get good traction.
he's got that right In drag racing, it's all in the 60' times (mostly). And the higher stall your TC, the more improvement in the 60'.
you might not like the daily driving of a 4000 stall TC.
You'll need to ask yourself... how much "normal road driveability" are you willing to sacrifice to achieve a desired ET ?
The motor in my 2001 A4 Coupe is untouched. However my bolt-ons make a difference. Switch the Vortex to the Vararam and you should be fine. Check the mods and MPH in my sig The Vararam and tune picked me up 4.75 mph on the track over the vortex. Bob
I think it can be done without getting into the engine and rearend. Use your stock TB and change to an LS6 intake. Also a vararam wouldn't hurt either. If you are having problems with spinning the tires, go to ET Streets. But whatever you do, make sure you have a good tune up on what you have. Go to a good track with good atmospheric conditions and you should be in the 11s.
Pretty much the same impression I had. I called my tuner VETTE DOCTORS yes they are in NY, and I am in Fla. said to Carmen what did you do, the times and mph were huge? His response was "I'm GOOD" but, that vararam picked you up a bit as well. Now either he's really modest or the product works very well with his tune. Both the Vararam and Carmen's e-mail tune were installed the same day........
