Depends on the quality of springs that were installed, the ramp rate and many other factors, but if you experience an unexplained loss in performance, that might be a place to look. .568 is not that high, a ZO6 is .550 and they pretty last as long as a stock C5
I'm not sure what springs MTI used....they did the H/C about 3.5 yrs ago. If i remember right, i think it was a dual spring setup. Anyway i have about 10K miles on on the H/C.....most of which was under hard driving conditions and about half of that saw high revs fequently.
Anyway the reason i'm asking is because in the next few months i'm going to have some Texas tuner (possible MTI) install a new clutch and 4.10's, and figured if it was necessary i'd have them change out the springs....just be on the safe side. Sure would hate to have a spring fail at 6800 rpms while running down the track.
They can check the tension in both open and closed position and tell you if you need to replace them.A good tuner would do that, many would sell you new springs even if they didnt need to change them, and might not change them anyway.
