Possible Clutch / Drivetrain problem !!
I bought a 2001 Z06 that had been in an accident. Prior to being sold off the dealership had removed the engine by some means and inspected the frame. When I got the car I noticed some of the bolts missing where the torque tube meets the bellhousing and in the bellhousing itself.
Anyways today when I was putting in my cam I couldnt get the pulley bolt to stop spinning ( Car in 4th and Ebrake engaged ) I marked the tires and the clutch / flywheel assembly and its the flywheel assembly that is spinning
Im new to corvettes , is there anything in the torque tube area that would effect the clamp of the clutch or anything that could be disconnected in the tube itself ??
I should add that the Slave cylinder and master cylinder / brake booster were all dis connected when I got the car ( Brake booster and master cyl still are ) If it matters ??
