Default flywheel and clutch question

i have a aluminum flywheel installed. im getting a new clutch. do i have to resurface my flywheel? what needs to be balanced? were do i bring it? thanks pat

u need to get the flywheel balanced with the new clutch

the machine shop guy will prolly tell you if the flywheel is good to go or not

You need to balance the flywheel to the clutch. This is why most companies will include a flywheel with their package.

If the flywheel has any burned, or rough places, you can just
replace the steel friction surface of the flywheel. (before you
balance evrything again)

If any weights were transfered from your stock flywheel to your aluminum one, leave them on there or you will have balance issues.
