Cam price and install?
I want more power. I was thinking of upgrading my cam, I dont know what I would want. I only have cat-back exhaust (SLP LOUDMOUTH). I drive my car every day and I love loud. I just want some more power when I hit it. Those damn SVT Cobras are pissing me off. How mush will a good cam cost and how mush for the install. Will it be cheaper then headers and install? How much rwhp could i gain? or should I just do headers?

Unfortunately modding a Vette isn't cheap. You need LT headers if you are going to install a decent cam. You won't get max performance out of a cam with OEM exhaust manifolds. LTs and and a cam work together, depending on which cam you select you should gain 30+RWHP if you also have LT headers. With a decent cam and LTs you might gain 60+ RWHP(with tuning). A cam install will cost about $500.00 labor plus parts total should be between 1200-1500.

Cam: $350-400 + 600 ish for install. Keep in mind that you will also want to add decent valve springs when you do a cam. Springs are $160-400 (depends if you want Comp 918's or 921's).
LT's: $1,200-$1,800 + 350 ish for install.
