Hey quick question reguarding T/C's. I am getting a 3.42 gear installed soon and I want to know which T/C to get. I am going to buy a Yank because of their quality but I dont know which model to get. I was leaning toward the Super Yank 3500 because I might be adding a SC later down the line, but I was wondering how well it would act with my setup until I get the SC. If there is an other possibilities I appreciate any help thanks.
I've had that combo for a about 11k miles and love it. Yank has come out with other convertors that are popular here on the forum since I bought mine, but I think it kicks A$$!!!
A friend of mine has that same combo that you described (3.42 and SY3500). He loves it and I have driven his car and it runs great. Adding a SC will be fine with that combo.
If you are sure you will be adding a S/C Yank makes T/Cs that are designed to work specifically with FI applications. They make the PYE3400 & PYE3600. The also make an E version of their SS line of converters. You might want to give them a call they can hook you up with the best T/C for your FI application.
