OIL Pump Issues On C5???
I am heaing about oil pump failures being an issue for all C5'S. Does anyone know if this is true?
And if it is true, any recommendations on replacing?

I had no issues at 91K, But with the recent H/C install we went ahead and did a ported pump just to increase pressure.
I'm sure that some real high mileage ones fail but with Mobil 1 and limited track usage (keeping temps under 250) I can't see them failing.

I heard they fail, but ive never heard of anyone saying theirs failed.
.......and for that reason almost everyone with an LS1 replaces the oil pump when doing a cam.
