Got my Textralia Aussie Clutch in today I ordered from Chris @ ECS! Just like another forum member posted a few days ago, Jeff at Textralia called me to make sure clutch made it here O.K. and to see if I had any questions! It just doesn't get any better than that for customer service! Probably will be a couple weeks before I have it installed and will post my opinions then.
I've tried asking this question, twice (two different posts), and also sent a PM to ECS but never got a reply to any of them. Must be a top secret or something .

Sorry about that. Who did you send the PM to? I do all the sales and pricing. If you sent it to Doug it sometimes takes awhile because we have been really busy in the shop. I just sent you a PM now..
It cost me $974 delivered 2nd day air and clutch is balanced ready to install when you receive it.
LUK told me my clutch was balanced from the factory as well. After installing it I had to pull it and found it was over 16 grams out. I would have the balance double checked.
If you have a stock engine, chances are it was final balanced with weights on the flywheel. You should have the old clutch assembly balanced to the new one to avoid balance issues.

No problem. Not sure who I sent it to, I think it was to you or Doug in the other post about this clutch. In any event, I got your PM so no big deal. I'll let ya'll know when I'm ready. Thanks!
To my knowledge that $950 gets you the disk, pressure plate, flywheel, slave (slave and throw out, not just the throw out like other clutches give you), pilot and master (not 100% sure about the pilot and/or master).
I am by no means bashing or doubting Textralia but that pic looks very similar to a Clutch Masters stage IV six puck seen here:
The difference being (at first glance) that Textralia includes everything for the same price as the Clutch Masters disk and pressure plate. The Clutch Masters may perform similar to the Textralia but may have been overlooked due to it's high price.
Let me re-iterate that this is not to question either vendor or raise any questions as to either's authenticity. I am very glad to see a new clutch design for the LS1 that seems to show so much promise! I just noticed that they are of similar design, thats all.

the pressure plate design looks somewhat different to me, not to mention the aussie bolt pattern on the disk material is on a vertical line, while the CM is horizontal. I have no idea if this makes one more favorable than the other, just an observation.

You're right. The more I look at them the more differences I see. Think I just jumped to this incorrect conclusion.
That P/plate is identical to my spec II? But its blue not yellow. Dont worrie though, I love my spec II and it works great, In case they are of a similar design.

Reason: not complete
The clutch has the dowl pins that make the install perfect and the balance is perfect when you put it in--I was talking to peter in aussie a couple of days ago and they pulled one out of a holden (3900lbs) that has 750rwtq and over 200 1/4 mile runs as well as 22,000 miles as a daily driver and there was just under 25% of the disk material missing so I would have to say the clutch should last me quite awhile--I loved this clutch right up until the time the car went head first into the gaurd rail friday night in the rain--still love the clutch but the car is fkd.
