I found this:
5 bolt on 4-3/4 (120.6 mm) these cars should have a spare tire to fit the c5, let me know if it is correct.

My son got a GTO and the space saver spare looks like it might fit my z. It is a 17" and it is offset. Has anyone tried one on?

As mentioned in the Z06 forum, a problem on the rear is the limited slip differential. If the outside diameter is substantially diffferent, the differential clutches will slip a lot, heating the oil and wearing the clutches. I don't know if this is a big problem, but it could be much more expensive than getting towed.
