Default lowered but confused(searched)

Well i lowered the vette today. Back went easy, except I only cut out the middle part of the bushings then left two threads showing. For the fronts i only halved the distance between the bushings. Should I just close the distance between the bushings all the way? Or should I cut them? I drive it everyday and dont want to worry about scraping too much or jarring my fillings loose.
As it sits right now I am at 27 1/2 in the back and 27 5/8 in the front.

Are you sure you measured right? The back needs to be higher than the front!!

You'll end up taking the bolts completely out anyway so...

Yeah, I measured right but only once I drove the car for awhile. I also have some discrepency between the sides, so tomorrow I am going to crank down the front some more and leave the back where it is as it looks good enough for now. Do i need to take out or cut the front rubber pieces or should i just leave them?

That's gonna be a personal choice...IE: How low do you want it? If you're not sure, get the back level, then adjust the front accordingly. Good luck.

IMHO it will be to low and the suspension will not work properly don't cut bushings. You will be dragging and scrapping. If you lower it to much you need shorter shocks to prevent bottoming. 1/2" rake front to back measured at frame form in back of front wheel and in front of back wheel.

I did the whole thing with just tightening the bolts and it barely did anything. If you want the lowered look you will have to remove the bolts or cut them down quite a bit.
