headlight wiggles?

headlight wiggles?
Hello.
Sorry to bother you all with nothing but questions! But I have another problem that has just reared its ugly head.
My driverside headlight wiggles quite a bit, whereas my passenger one stays pretty rock solid.
Is there anything specific I should do to try to remedy this? I've seen the write up on replacing the gear, and will be checking the 5 mounting bolts/nuts to make sure everything is snug.
But is it typical for the headlights to jiggle? Sometimes when I hit the right patch of bad blacktop, it feels like something is completely lose and flopping around on the left front. I'm wondering (hoping) its a lose headlight assembly and not a tie rod end or something.
