After some spirited back road driving a week ago my left side brakes are making that metalliac sound as if the pad sensors were telling me the pads are worn. They are not. I have 6K miles on GM Ceramic pads with Baer Enhanced rotors. The odd thing is the sound doesn't go away when I apply any brake pressure.
Could the little anti vibration gizmo's need cleaning or lubing? Could the brake pad audible warning gizmo need cleaning/lubing?
I had the same thing with one of the warning tabs, but that was on stock brakes, on a a Caprice. It was there all the time and drove me nuts driving around town.

Have you checked the pads to make sure? If the guide pins weren't properly lubed the pads could very well be worn out. (They drag)
The audible warning device is just a steel protrusion so there is nothing to clean or lube. You can add synthetic lube to the backing plates on the pads.
