New Short Shifter
FIrst mod to my 02 Z06, I couldent belive how long the throws were in this car when I first got it.. More like a truck than a sports car... I won a no name short shifter on eBay total cost $54 delivered.. It has no adjustable stops like some of the higher priced ones, and the only real flaw I have found is it seems the threads are differant from my stock one a little larger shaft I think.. So my round Z06 ball gets about 1.5 turns on and it stops... Anyhow for $54 delivered its one hell of a differance.. the shifts are obviously faster and more precise, And I have heard alot of guys complaining about the noise with some of the shifters... noting differant than stock here... One small complaint (that could be fixed with a universal ****) otherwise the best money I think anyone can spend on a Z06..

Its a Z06 its noisey as hell anyways... but I can say this didnt make any additional noise.. I test drove it with the cover off and holy christ it was loud I guess a direct hole to the backside of the motor would do that hu?..lol
