Default FAST 90 intake & TB

Changing heads. Going with ET Performance 5.3's w/2.055 int and 1.575 ext. Thinking of going with the FAST 90 and Throttle Body. I've been told that the FAST TB has or is problematic. Been told to go with LPE or TPIS for the TB. Any responses are appreciated!
Thanks,
KJ

Cheers,

Nick Williams has a new improved version out now that doesn't have the issues some of the earlier ones had.
LG Motorsports sells them. Here's the link: http://www.lgmotorsports.com/shop/pr...fa86e9441cc5a6

I have tried the LS2 TB on an LS2 intake on a C5. The car lost 20hp from the LS6 intake with a stock ported TB!

The car is a 408 with around 13:1 CR.

Wired the LS2 into the stock C5 wiring with connectors and dynoed the car. The Throttle body seemed like it was wired with Torque managment hardwired into the TB. With the tech II on the dyno, it showed to open about 40% of WOT until almost 5k RPMs. Doesnt sound right to me. Tell me how to make this throttle body work and i will try again, untill then, from my personal experiences, its junk.

Wade, do not want to divert this thread buy you had bad wiring or bad TB. Many of us have had no such probelms.
I would be happy to email you the proper wiring hookup.

FWIW..I went with the 5.3 heads also by E.T sold by Agostino Racing at the time. Your gonna love 'em.

I went with the TPIS OVAL TB and ported the LS6 intake...so far so good. No A/F issues and it breathes well at the top end ..Good Luck!

The Fast 90 with the LS2 TB is a pretty decent combo.

The Fast 90 with the Nick Williams or TPIS 90mm TB is the best combo.

Thanks my friend, as you know our cars are quite similar. I've got Ed Curtis of Flowtech Induction Systems ( http://www.flowtechinduction.com ) working out a cam for me! We'll see what she does when I'm done. Hope to be right up there with ya.
Thanks,
KJ
