Here is the latest on the squeeks. The sway bars bushings were lubed with dielectric lube (perhaps the wrong lube),, they were quiet for about a day, Now there is groaning from the bushings. Inspection looked like the end link on the sway bar was bad. So I removed 1 to inspect it . Of course I didn't know there was a 40 Tork fitting in the end,, so I damaged the boot removing the end link. The link had lube in the ball socket and I could find no damage. I added lube and put it back on (waiting for replacements). The bounce test on the car showed the sway bar bushings groaning when bounced. I surrender on the stock bushings. I don't know if the dielectric grease damaged them or not. New poly U bushings and end links are on the way from Ecklers. What is interesting is the new end links are all metal,, no plastic and heavy duty parts. The poly U bushings come with special lube. Ecklers rep told me expect the new poly to squeek or groan until they seat. Has anyone else had a issue with New Poly U bushings.
If you are interested in the sway bar end links,, you have to ask them to search for them. They are not in the manual or website. Must be new parts. so for now squeeking and groaning along,, Varoooom
Did you only buy bushings for the swaybar? It looks like that's all you bought, but I have to ask becuase if you bought bushings for the entire suspension, I recommend you return them immediately or prepare to suffer. The VBP is the only kit worth installing, and even that one is a PITA. Unless you get some unsuspecting shop that will stick to a quote, be ready to pay $1,000 for labor to install a full bushing kit.
They probably didn't have the endlinks in their catalog because it's almost certainly (much) cheaper from www.gmpartsdirect.com.
What I bought were the Poly U bushings and metal end links front and rear. I am not trying to put it on the track,, just upgrade the groaning factory stock rubber units. Lubing the factory rubber is only short term from squeek to groaning rubber.
Not to mention the total package is about $150... for both F & R
