Default Can I clean up my flywheel?
I have the engine out of my car (long story) My Fidanza flywheel has 4000 miles on it and a few "hot spots". Can I clean them off myself? Can it be resurfaced? The clowns at Fidanza havn't responded to my e-mails I sent on Monday.

Any ideas?

Isn't there a steel plate on there you replace?

There's an insert that is replacable. I'm not sure I need to replace the insert? I'm wonderind if I can "scuff" it up?
