Battery Storage...Question
A buddy of mine told me never to store a car battery on a concrete floor, since this will drain the battery. I've never heard this before...& don't see how this could be possible. Any truth to it??

I remember the same lesson from auto shop in the late 60s. Maybe it is no longer necessary but I still put some wood or cardboard below it anyway if I'm putting it on concrete for any length of time.
