Default Power seat problem.

Hi , can anyone help me figure this out. The passenger seat seems to adjust itself while the engine is cranked. You can be driving along and you hear a buzzing sort of sound and it seems to be the seat moving. If you touch one of the power buttons on the side of the seat it will stop for a while but will start as it sees fit. Anyone have any idea's what is causing this ? Thanks in advance. Car is an 1999 power everything. Don't think there is a ghost lurking about.

Something similar happened to me a couple of months ago. When I went to get into the car, the seat was all the way up and back. Then, a week later, it happened again, but when I got into the car, the battery was dead. I figure the seat-motor was on constant and drained the battery. (all this happened overnight, when the car was empty and locked) So I recharged the battery, moved the seat into the position I liked, and pulled the fuse. In my case, it might be a bad switch, or the other possibility is condensation on the switch.
I will keep my eye on your thread. I am going to have to fix it one of these days.

Thanks SPS. I have thought of pulling the fuse myself but didnt think it was a switch problem or condensation yet. I think I will pull the fuse as you did until I can get it fixed. If I find out what it is before you do I will let you know. Thanks for your help.
