Was just out for a quick ride, and my dash lit up like a xmas tree, beeps and codes started spitting out all over the place. Car ran fine the whole way home as if nothing was the matter.

Traction control disabled light
No Oil Pressure
No Fuel
No Voltage
MPH and KPH both lit
ABS disabled light

DIC:
Tire pressure mon. service required
Service Vehicle Soon
Reduced Engine Power
Low Fuel

Then oil presssure, fuel and voltage came back, but everything else stayed lit up.

Pulled codes.... had codes in just about every catagory. Four or five in the radio alone.

Reset them all w/o writing them down, figured they'd come back and i'd get them next time.

Was a bit alarmed at my tire pressure hitting 38 or so in my garage, could have hit 40 sitting in the sunlight today while we were driving. So i dropped it to 33 all the way around. Will reset it tonight to 30 cold.

My question is, could/would/does high tire pressure set of a string of failures? What is the actual high pressure setting? Does it disable stuff when you go overpressure?

Also, this being a 97, can an intermittent string of errors be caused by a PCM that had the battery leak on it in the past? I see no evidence, but won't rule that out. How do you know if this is happening? What are the signs?

After a 5-6 mile cruise, I only have one remaining code that resurfaced:

1571H... which i guess means ASR Desired Torque, and its common on 97's but how is it fixed?
