Lifter preload ????
I have stock deck (.012 out of the hole w/Diamond pistons),
LS6 heads that are not milled, Jesel SS rockers. When I checked
preload with a dial indicator, the preload was between .060 and
.085. I am using new Comp 850's. The tech at Comp said the
max preload should be .080-090.....so I called to order a set of
.025 shorter pushrods. The guys at Thunder told me to leave it
alone and they run that preload all the time. Anyone run that
much preload on their Comp 850's????

I measured them cold with the engine on a stand.
