Push down the traction control for 5 seconds

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, I have a 2003 Z06. I just found out that if I hold down the traction control button for more than 5 seconds, it goes into what's called "COMPETATIVE DRIVING MODE". What is that? A friend of mine told me about it and he said that it turns OFF the traction control but still enables you to have active handling. Can anyone tell me what this is all about?

Yes, that's what it does. The details are in the owner's manual.

Now that wasn't so hard to figure out, was it?

Complete - entire, up and down
tire -- Rubber disc attached to Wheels
acceleration -- the act of increasing speed
control -- at your discretion, not by other forces (i.e. PCM)

based on a second read through, I could have exchanged rotation speed with acceleration.

Note what the manual says....something like : A/H cannot overcome the laws of gravity! It'll help......but you can still get out of shape QUICKLY

Nothing is perfect, but it will give you enough correction to allow you to get off the gas and straighten out. Tough crowd tonight
