Default Tire Pressure - HELP!!!

What PSI do you all keep your tires at? I have Yokohama AVS Sports and they say on the side wall that you can put up to 53 psi. I have them at about 45 psi and they just spin like crazy - absolutely no traction, even with traction control on!!! I had MUCH better traction with the stock run flat. Any suggestions other than getting new tires!?

Thanks.

I've got the same tires. (Yoko AVS Sports) and I never run above 32psi.
I ususlly keep them at 30-31 psi cold tire pressure.
If you put them at 53 psi cold, that pressure is going to be way, way up there when they warm up.

That 53 is a MAX safty rating. Thats when the tire will go boom.

Pressures shown on the Tire Loading Information Label on your driver's side door is a good place to start. Monitor the tires for wear and adjust accordingly if needed.

Thanks for all the feed back. I'll put them at 30 - 32 psi & see if that helps. I just wasn't sure if different tires required diferent psi - especially going from run-flats to non run-flats. Thanks again!
