Default Decarbo..engine '98'

I have read and copied a Vette Forum thread that detailed this process but the 98 engine does not seem to follow the process. The printed process used a single PCV opening but my engine has a value cover opening for the PCV on the drivers side toward the firewall end of the value cover. I do not see any other access to the other, passenger side, value cover for access for the DeCarbonization process.

Any Thoughts

Doesn't the tube for the funnel in the picture only go to the passenger side valve cover, and the hose above it go to the driver side?

The 98 has one very long continous tube off the thro..body that starts wraps around the passenger side of the engine and Y's to the drivers side with the tube connecting to the value cover plug at the value cover end closest to the firewall. The pictures show a plug behide the thro..body that does not exist on the my engine.

I have to say this, it's not value cover but valve cover, your engine doesn't open values to allow the air/fuel misture to enter the combustion chamber.

Your PCV system has a hose that connects to the back of the drivers side valve cover and then goes around the back of the engine where it taps into another hose thats connected to the back side of the passenger side valve cover, from there it runs to the front of the valve cover where it turns towards the intake.

You need to disconnect the line and pour the cleaner into the intake with the engine running, if you pour it into the hose it won't do anything except maybe contaminate your engine oil.

Thanks for the update and your spelling lesson
