No No No, the catch can goes between the PCV and the intake vacuum source. Mine is directional, if yours is too make sure the flow of vacuum is going in the direction it's supposed to. Do a search in this forum or others for pics and diagrams. Hard to describe without a picture.

It goes: Out of your valve covers (or valley cover outlet for Z06 owners), to the catch can, then from the catch can to the pcv then to the intake manifold. The choice of mounting the can is yours. I've got mine up front on the inside of the frame rail like Patches'. HTH

Is there something missing from my car. I have only a hose from the valve cover to the throttle body, no PVC. Outlet on the cover is metal hose is about 8 inches long, on the passenger side.

Thats a breather hose, your PCV hose hooks into the intake manifold behind the throttlebody on the right side.
Thanks for the reply re breather hose. Hooked up the catch can by leaving PVC in location on throttle body with line to side of AMW can, and connected 3/8 foam covered line to top of catch can. Thanks, Hall
