By 'flash the PCM' do you mean return the tune to stock or is your goal to suppress some codes?

Flashing the PCM is like reloading the operating system on your computer. It's not necessary just to clear codes. Here's a link to a Tech Tip to access and clear those codes.

Thanks for the list Patches, I saved them.

mdhmi, the car has no tune but stock, I have the icons of the TC and the ABS on in the speedometer, it is disabling both those systems. Car runs absolutely fine. I do have U1096,U1064, U1016, but I believe those have to do with the fact I am missing the pres. sensors, they are on my spares.
Someone here suggested to flash the PCM, I've never done this.
So hoping someone can give me a headsup.

Thanks,
Jeff

Those codes aren't because of your tire pressure sensors: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=991533

I think you either have a bad connection or a bad ground(s)....probably the latter.

I've deleted the codes as per link.
I still have the "service vehicle soon" and both my TC and ABS lights are still on in the speedo.
Is this a preventative maintenance issue? Do I hafta take it into the dealer again?
I did take the - cable off the car for 30min as per somebody's thread. No luck.
Any help is much appreciated, I will go look for the bad ground though.

You can look in your owners manual for an explanation of the "service vehicle soon" message but basically it says that you have an electrical or other problem that the dealership is going to have to troubleshoot.

Thanks runamuk,
I was afraid of that, the dealer rang me up last month for $461 to replace the oil pres. sensor.
The service writer gonna love seeing me pull back in

Well maybe/hopefully my AUL warranty will cover this.
Thanks again,
Jeff

That's just plain highway robbery for a sensor swap. You should ask local forum and club members for recommendations to a more honest service department. Post in your regional section for best results.

I'm pretty sure the retail cost of the sensor is right at $20 so you paid $440 in labor
