First, was the color Torch Red an available color in '95? And if so is it the same formula as the Torch Red for a 2000? Thanks guys.

As far as a color option in 95 I'm not sure. The WA code for torch red is 9075. I know it is also used on certain Impala models.

If Torch Red is anything like Pewter Metallic, there will be multiple formulas even within the same model year and they will vary quite a bit from different paint manufacturers. I wasted a ton of time and money trying PPG, Sherman Williams, and BASF. My Metalic Pewter is way off from the base formula and none of those companies has an alternate that comes close. Then I tried Dupont and they pulled the formula by running my vin number - perfect match. Torch Red is probably much easier to match but even so I would find dist that carries Dupont and can run the vin rather than just crossing your fingers or looking at paint chips.
