zip tie ... anyone?
I've been searching the forum for step by step zip tie instructions for my 2001. she needs more air!! low on funds but must modify.....or die. Can anyone help? . I've washed and waxed it enough, it's not helping it go faster. thanks in advance

if you insist on doing that mod, make sure you add a hood seal to try to control some of the water issues (it'll be runing off your hood.....and right on/in your air filter).
the newer Z-06 lid is only a few $, and it's designed to prevent what i just mentioned

I did the swiss cheese mod to mine. It probably doesn't matter but it does seem more secure to have the airbox bolted in place.
As mentioned above be sure to get the hood seal. I made the mistake of washing my car after reinstalling the drilled airbox, but before installing the weather strip. Had to wait a few hours for the air filter to dry. Live and Learn...
