Default Oil Pressure Sensor Replacement - Failed second attempt!

My second attempt at replacing the oil pressure sensor failed! I disconnected the air bridge, the two electrical connectors at the MAF, two rubber hoses on the passenger side, all eight injector connectors, the four plastic anchors on the fuel rail, all ten intake bolts (lifting the two in the back)....and still I can only move the intake up and forward about an inch! The passenger side seems to be clear, but there is definitely something holding the intake back on the driver side! Did I missed something or am I just not pulling hard enough? Like other newby mechanics, I'm afraid to exert stronger forces.

How about the electrical connector and little vacuum hose in the back of the intake?

At the back of the intake...... a small vac. line, brake booster line and a MAP harness if i remember correctly. You can get your hand back there from the pass. side.

Thanks guys! I know that they are back there, but I thought that I would be able to see them once I pull the intake forward...a couple inches. Do I have to stick my hand back there feel my way around? I'll give it another try next weekend. In the mean time, any suggestion at all will be greatly appreciate.

I did mine a few weeks ago and it was a pain too! I ended up taking the whole intake out cause i didnt have any skin left on my hands. There is a big hose and a electrical connector, that maybe holding youo up, but remember there is a tiny air line on the passenger side that might hold you up too. Good Luck!

They're both disconnected by pulling them to the passenger side. Below is a pic of my manifold looking at the rear where the MAP connector and vacuum line are. The vacuum line is very small-diameter tubing with a 90 deg. elbow on the end that connects to the manifold. In the illustration below, the item labeled #3 is the MAP connector. It has a tab you lift on top to release the connector as you pull. The vacuum hose is jut below it. You just tug that off.

That little vacume hose on the passenger side gave me the most trouble when reistalling. had to lenghten the hose with a connector and additional vac hose i got at the local advanced auto parts. I couldn't get my hand back there(not enough space) to reconnect when the intake was close enough for the vac line to reach it. Save yourself some hair pulling and go buy the stuff.
