Quietcar sound dampening
I'm getting eveything ready to start the sound deadening on my 02 ZO6. I'm going to try a liquid product car Quiet Car from a company called Quiet Solutions. It will be rolled on on the entire area of the cars interior.
I've got everything removed, cleaned up and washed down.
I checked with them regarding any heat issues and they said the products flash point is 300 degrees. I'm going to install a tunnel plate to cut down on heat in the tunnel so I'm not worried about excess heat around the console. But I'm am a little concerned in the trunk area where the exhaust exits. My exhaust is a corsa titanium with no mufflers. Do you think there could be any heat issues around the trunk area? Also any advice/input on the soundproofing would be appreciated.

Why not email the mfgr and make them give you the info? That way they are on-the-hook if it doesn't work out as planned.
