i'm looking at an 02 lingenfelter supercharger equipped vette with 19's up front and 20's out back.no tire pressure monitors and no runflats.2 questions...1)does anybody make runflats in that size?2)can tire pressure sensors be put on or reinstalled on this size tire?thanks.
Tire pressure sensor usability will depend on the wheel primarily. They stay pretty close to the wheel so the height of the tire should still be alright.
Just be aware if you get a flat you run a high chance of destroying the sensor.
I have mine in non-runflats so I can get an early warning and figure if I wreck one I wreck one.
I don't think I've ever seen 20" runflats. You can get 19's but typically intended for the rear and so are fairly wide.
i'm currently running sensors in my 01 with non-runflats also.z06 size rims and tires.the 02 i'm looking at has some swet wheels on it,but i have no idea what make they are.tires are dunlop's.

I have 19/20's and I also use the tire pressure sensors.
I am almost positive (99.99%) they DO NOT make run flats in those size tires.

If you are looking at a supercharged car, run flats are probably not your best option anyway. On a 20" rim you will never hook up, let alone with run flat!
