is there a good article somewhere that explains what a cam is? and the various kinds? (i hear people saying "mild" cam, etc.) I'm lost.

also, are they all legal in CA?

yup. you can go up to a 224int 224 ext and pass emissions out in cali

No, they are not legal Ca. ANd if youm install a 224 cam, you better have a good tuner.
