Default Need help with front end....

I'm having an issue with the front end. 2002 m6 conv w/14k miles. It seems when I stand on the throttle doing maybe 25-50 mph, the front end wants to pull to the left (pretty hard). When I get off the peddle it comes back right. I realize tourque might have something to do with this, but my 2000 m6 conv didn't seem to do this. Any ideas what would cause this????? Appreciate any help........Had it aligned last week. All was O.K.

when they did your alignment did they check the angle of the driveline?
If the driveline angle is off, the car will still track straight because the corners are aligned

Do you need to ask them to specicfly to check the drive line? I understand what you are saying, that the corners or tires might be aligned but not the drive line. How do they check the drive line and is that something any alignment place can do?

Make certain that the rear (actually all) tire pressures are even.

Hmmmm. I don't know how bad it is but pulling under acceleration is fairly normal. Especially with differing levels of traction of differing tire pressure levels in the tires.

If it's really bad, it's probably a suspension bushing I'd say. It might be bad, so that the car lines up fine, but under the force of acceleration it is giving way and throwing the alignment way off. Maybe even a bad shock could do this.

Seems hard to believe with so few miles though.

Does it EVER pull to the right? Or just left every time? How bad are we talking? Instant lane change, out of control? Or the car just wants to go to the left a bit?

First of all, thanks for the replies and help. I Just dropped the car of at the dealer to be looked at. It's still has a month left on the factory warranty and one of the service managers is an old customer of mine. So we will see what happens tomorrow. A shock certainly could do it. It pulls pretty hard but not lane changing or anything. It always pulls left and if you get off the throttle right away it comes right back. I did notice some power steering fluid on the crossmemeber which turned out to be a small leak in the rack. Being fixed tomorrow. They are going to look at the drive line alignment as well. Thanks for the advise on that. I will update all as to what they say the problem is...
