JACKING QUESTION? 02 vert
hay i got a jacking question,im geting ready to paint my calipers,and i got the jack stands and floor jack .Now i need to know to get the rear up can i throw the floor jack on the rear end? and for the front im scared to do one side at a time,can i get her up in one step if so where do i jack from?....a pic of correct places would be great ...and yes i have four jack stands.. and some ramps also ...so any info would build up my confidence...

I recommend jacking on the front and rear crossmembers and placing the jackstands under there. Here are two tutorials:

Another tip: I drive the front tires up onto the ramps first, so there is plenty of room to get the floor jack under the front cross-member. I always use a block of plywood on the jack to avoid marring the cross-member. Once I get the front up in the air, I snap in some Elite Engineering jacking pucks into the front side frame oval holes and place stands under the front frame sides......Then I raise the rear from the center cross-member and place the rear side frame pads and jack stands. In fact, my C5 is spending the night up on a set of stands.....Ran out of energy putting in a set of Zo6 sway bars and Bilstein Sport shocks....still need to do one more rear Bilstein.
