Default Do B&B "Bullets" resonate?

East Coast Corvettes is running a good deal on these but I was curious about how these might compare to the "PRT" system which I found a little too loud and had way too much resonance.

They are decently louder than the PRT's...

My B&B Route 66's were too quiet for me... have Corsa's now..

Also, the B&B website advertises the "Bullet" with a 22 hp gain compared to the PRT with only a 12hp gain. This surely can't be right!

I can be safe by saying if you dont like the prt's, you will hate the bullets resonance.I love the sound outside though!!!

To answer your question, YES, they resonate.

A lot in certain circumstances. The only way you are getting away from the resonance with any aftermarket exhaust is to go $$ with the GHL's. The Corsa Indy are ok too, but not as loud as Stingers or Bullets.

I've had the Corsa Indy, Ti, Bullets, PRTs, and now the Borlas. I like the Borla's the best. Good trade-off between loud and resonance.

I am very happy with my Corsa Indy's. They have no resonance and are near factory quiet at cruise but roar when you step on it.

I am adding headers, hi-flow cats and a cam next week so I expect a change in the sound level. If too loud I will move to the Corsa Touring or even more likely the TI's.

Yes they have resonance ALOT with no cats. I've had Ti's, PRT, Bullets and now have the SLP powerflow system. This system by far is the best for interior sound with no cats and Long tubes on an agressive H/C car.

The bullets will be louder and will resonate more than the PRT's. If you are looking for new systems, GHL is really the top of the line in my HO. I have seen them all and GHL's impressed me much more than all the others. NO, I do not have GHL's, I have a total 3 inch system from MTI Racing.

We have B&B RT66 with Corsa x-pipe on our convertible with near to no resonance. Resonance is worse in coupes due to the rear hatch area configuration. I had GHL Bullets on our '99 coupe and they resonated and popped big time. Hope this helps.

Replaced my PRT's with the Bullets and they are definately louder and more resonance, alot more but the sound if great. By the way I always got complemented on the sound of the PRT's so kept them an will probably put them back on when the racing season is over.
