I have two sets of rims. One set for track days and one set for Road work. My track rims do not have the TP sensors, yet. Will this cause me any problems or should I just turn off TPS and how do I do that. If it won't cause any problems my sensors are on the way but won't be hear before pahrump corvette track days. What should I do?
IMO, if you are just using one set of wheels for the track I would not worry about the TPS. Just reset the DIC if codes pop up. Make sure you check the tire pressure manually before you start to rocket down the track. Good luck and be safe on the track.

You can turn off the TPM system on your model-year using a TECH II, but then you would also have to turn it back on the same way when your street wheels go back on. It seems to be more trouble than its worth. You will get a warning when you run no sensors, just hit re-set.
Thanks Guys, I'll just do the reset at every startup. I just know once after having tires replaced I got a tire pressure low warning and then a reduce power max speed 55. I'd hate to have problems like that at the track.
