I posted over in General without a lot of success and thought someone here could help me out. I recently did a HUD install in my 2000. I did gauge bezels at the same time. Got everything back together and everything is working fine except the gauge Tach. Its not sweeping at all. The HUD is showing the RPM's but nothing from the dash. I'm confident I didn't get any glue from the bezels onto the tach and the needle is position correctly on the right side of the stop. I find it hard to believe that the cluster plug isn't seated since all other gauges are working. I also have a Window Valet. I took the device out thinking it was something to do with the Valet....still nothing. Any ideas?
does it do the recalibrate sweep when the ignition is first turned on ?

that plug is a bitch to get seated fully. But I've heard that sometimes during bezel installs that the needle can get accidentally bumped to the other side (wrong side) of the zero stop peg. It tries to rotate clockwise from zero, but it's bumping up against the little black stop peg.

Thanks Mike - It doesn't recalibrate with the ignition. Doesn't appear to be doing anything. Looks like I'm going to have to tear into it to ensure the plug got fully seated.......Thanks - Barry
