If I were to swap my stock 2000 LS1 for a crate LS6, use the original MAF, TB, LS6 manifold, original ECM, would it work, or would I be tripping codes and have emissions problems?
Can you run the original injectors or do you need to Z06 injectors?
The 1999 & 2000 C5 (yours) used 26.2 lb injectors. 1997, 1998 and all 2001-2004 LS1's (C5's) and LS6's (Z06's) used 28.8lb injectors. To my 2000 C5, I'm adding a Comp Cam, LS6 heads, 2001+ intake manifold (LS1 and LS6 were the same), Supermaxx longtube headers w/high flow cats and X-pipe followed by an LS1 Edit tune. I am installing the later 28.8 lb injectors. I believe the duty cycle would be awfully high on the stock 2000 injectors, though some have successfully used them. I just wouldn't want a failure (causing an extreme lean condition at WOT).
